The ‘Orbert Davis’ Jazz & Family Festival’ is planned for July 13, 2019 on beautiful Island Park, in Momence from 1 until 7 p.m. The free event is open to the public and will feature great music from Orbert Davis, Sones De Mexico Ensemble, The Swing Kings, and The Chicago Jazz Philharmonic Youth Ensemble. Orbert Davis is known throughout the world as a musician, educator and composer. He was born in Chicago, but from the age of 6 was raised in Momence. Please put this event on your calendar and support out ‘hometown hero’ at the Orbert Davis Jazz and Family Fest on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 1 to 7 p.m. on Island Park, Momence.
