Learn relaxing rhythms on a hand drum - even if you have never drummed and even if you "have no rhythm"! This drum circle is about relaxing with easy rhythms. You do NOT need a drum, there will be hand drums available to use during the session if you do not have your own drum. As you drum and relax, our facilitator Dawn Wrobel, also teaches about various types of hand drums, the cultural origins of the rhythms and the heath benefits of drumming. Leave refreshed and ready for the weekend! Drumming can increase happiness, improve coordination, and increase your white blood cell count while reducing blood pressure, inflammation, anxiety, depression and anger. Plus, you can burn some calories while having fun!
