With carefully curated menus and delicious cocktails, it is sure to be a wonderful night. Two other great date night locations are Flight 102 Wine Bar and Tucci’s. Flight 102 Wine Bar designs a special Valentine’s menu each year pairing beautifully prepared dishes with the perfect wine selections that are sure to leave your taste buds craving more! Tucci’s offers delectable Italian cuisine and cocktails in a beautiful dining room that’s split into many private sections for the perfect intimate Valetine’s dinner.
For the ladies that are ready to celebrate the holiday of love with their best friends, there are so many great experiences to be had in Kankakee County. New to the area is Sit & Scent, the cutest little shop where you and your group of girls can create the perfect candles to take home. Mix and match scents, colors and even add accents like flowers or colorful foils to personalize your candle. Or pack your own snacks and beverages and settle in for a relaxing painting session at Top Notch Knots & Pots. This shop has so many ceramics and pottery to choose from and invites a great time out with the girls. For the ladies that love the traditional wine night idea, Kankakee County has some of the best spots to taste the vineyards even in the cold of February. Grapes & Hops is a great spot for the girls. 
They specialize in serving local craft beer, wine, whiskey and they even offer homemade wine slushies! If the group needs a little snack, they also have local cheese and fudge flights to share with the whole table. Another great wine treasure tucked away is Off the Vine Winery. This quaint little shop offers over 60 different types of wine all made in Illinois. They also offer great breakfast and lunch menu items and a huge selection of caffeinated beverages at their espresso bar to keep the Designated Driver in on all the fun!
Now for Palentine’s Day (a term I just made up for the guys and/or mixed gendered friend groups), there is so much fun to be had! How about you try your hand at axe throwing at Splitting Targets?! This state-of-the-art axe throwing facility has eight lanes all equipped with axes and axe throwing coaches to help you perfect your throw. Take a break from hitting all the bullseyes with giant Jenga or cornhole! Another great option is to celebrate at a local brewery. Kankakee County is home to three local breweries, BrickStone Brewery, Knack Brewing & Fermentations and Steam Hollow Brewery. 
Each one offers their own unique style and atmosphere. BrickStone offers a whole dining experience as their brewery is also a restaurant. They are an award-winning brewery as well as an Illinois Made Maker. Knack offers an eclectic atmosphere with many rotating selections of brews. Steam Hollow offers a steam punk mixed with rustic vibe with a large selection of beer, cider and seltzers…and they are dog friendly. You can’t leave your 4-legged pal at home alone on Valentine’s Day!
