Herscher is deeply rooted into a farming environment that has evolved with time. The display incorporates the original caretakers of this region, the Potawatomi, early subsistence farming, diversified production by true horsepower and the specialized farming today. The museum is open on the first Sunday of each month from 1-3PM and every Friday from 9-11AM. Tours can be conducted upon request.
