BLUE MASS - Annual Event St. Patrick Parish, in Kankakee, is honored to host this special Mass each year to show support and pray for all First Responders - Police, Fire, and Emergency Service Personnel - serving throughout Kankakee County. The name “Blue Mass” comes from the traditional color of many of the uniforms worn by these men and women. Regardless of the color of their uniforms, we offer prayers for their strength and their safety as they selflessly serve our communities.
