En Plein Air Painting in the Pandemic Churches in Kankakee On display in the George Grey Barnard Exhibit now through February 25th is a beautiful watercolor collection of local church scenes completed during the COVD-19 pandemic by artist, Alan B. Hampshire. Over the years, Hampshire has captured scenes from New York to Martha’s Vineyard through his artwork. Having spent his childhood in Kankakee County, Hampshire recently found his way back with many stories to share. Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturdays 9am – 5pm Enjoy learning about his very exciting life from the artist himself at one of our “Meet & Greet” events: Saturday, January 21st at 10am or Saturday February 18th at 2pm. Light refreshments will be available at both events.
