October is Fire Prevention Month so enjoy a parade that begins at 10:00am at LaBeau Bros. parking lot in Kankakee. The route continues down Court Street to Kennedy Drive, through Bradley to Armour Road and commences in the Meijer parking lot. From 11:30am - 2pm, enjoy firehose demonstrations, take pictures with Sparky, enjoy food and giveaways.
