Who will YOU be Sinterklaas to this holiday season? Our 50+ artists and crafters will have a wonderful selection of handmade items for gift-giving to the special people in your life! Enter the world of Sint Nicolaas or Sinterklaas at our first Holiday artist and crafter event. A traditional winter holiday figure in Dutch-speaking Europe, Sinterklaas is the basis of the mythical holiday figure of Santa Claus in the United States. In Europe, Sinterklaas arrives from Spain in a boat and has a white horse that can walk across rooftops. Every child puts his shoe at the chimney (or the window), sings a song, and goes to bed. While the child sleeps, Sinterklaas comes and puts a present in the shoe. Watch for special activities at our Sinterklaas! Free admission, free parking... get ready for a special holiday event!
